I can’t believe it’s already been a little over a year since my last post. (Yikes!)
Lots of big updates:
1. My mother-in-law passed away in June 2025, and it’s really hard not having her around. We all miss her presence constantly.
2. My dog Zoom passed away just before Thanksgiving last year, and that was really hard too. He’d been with us since March 2016, even before my youngest kid was born. He traveled with us from Hawaii to Montana, to Texas, and finally to Florida.
3. We adopted a rescue dog from a local shelter! Cash is a Lab/hound mix, and boy, does it show. He’s kept us busy, and, though we still all miss Zoom so much, there’s always more love to give.
4. I started my MFA program at Emerson college! At this time, I’m about to finish up my first semester. I love this program and the people so much. I’m terrified (in an excited way) to see what happens next semester.
5. Youngest child has taken up a new sport. We know nothing about lacrosse, but we’re learning as we go!
